Armstrong S-995 Commercial LVT & Sheet Adhesive in a 4-gallon (15 L) pail. S-995 is a solvent-free, acrylic adhesive for the full-spread permanent installation of Armstrong commercial luxury vinyl flooring (LVT) and commercial sheet. It is a premium high-strength adhesive for demanding commercial installations, and its low odour suits occupied buildings. Sold by the pail from Word of Mouth Floors. One pail covers approx. 880–1,040 sq ft.
Where to Use It
- Flooring: commercial luxury vinyl flooring (LVT), dimensionally stable commercial vinyl tile and plank, and commercial sheet.
- Subfloors: porous and non-porous concrete with moisture limits of 95% RH per ASTM F2170 (90% below grade); sound, properly prepared concrete and APA-approved wood subflooring; existing well-bonded resilient flooring (except perimeter-bonded or cushion-backed sheet); ceramic tile, terrazzo, marble and polymeric-poured floors; properly mixed and applied powder underlayment and embossing levelers; primed, poured-in-place gypsum subfloors.

Good to know: use the specified trowel and replace the blade when worn so you hit the right spread rate; the adhesive needs to reach 100% transfer to the floor covering backing. Clean-up: dry with a clean white cloth and mineral spirits, wet with a clean white cloth and neutral detergent and water. For professional use only; not labelled for consumer use. Follow the Armstrong installation guidelines.
